Our Story

Founded in 2016, Mealux was born in Istanbul with a simple belief: true craftsmanship can never be replicated.

Our name, Mealux, means “my light” in Latin — a reflection of what we believe jewelry should be: something personal, something that carries a part of you.

Every Mealux piece is entirely handcrafted in Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar, a place where the art of jewelry-making has been passed from hand to hand for centuries. From the first touch of metal to the final detail, each piece is shaped individually by skilled hands, through a process that requires time, precision, and craftsmanship.

And because they are made by hand, no two Mealux pieces can ever be exactly the same.

The subtle differences in texture, form, and detail are not imperfections. They are the signature of the hands that created them — making every piece genuinely one of a kind.
